By delivering energy to the tissue safely Evoke provides a noticeable change in fat reduction and skin tightening results. EVOKE is a hands-free facial remodeling treatment with zero pain or downtime! It’s quick and easy to get the results you want.

As we age, our skin begins to lose its natural firmness and elasticity. The face loses fat and the subdermal tissues also suffer from loss of support over time. The result is areas of the face that droops. This usually occurs on the jowl area where skin becomes thinner and facial tissues start to sag. Using Evoke can achieve effective face tightening and neck tightening to deliver younger looking and contoured skin.

This treatment can provide results similar to a surgical facelift without the surgery part. What you get is a face that is slimmer, tighter and younger-looking skin.

Have Questions?

We've compiled answers to the most common questions to help you make informed decisions about your beauty journey.

How Does Spectra Tattoo Removal Work?

Spectra uses a beam of light to significantly lighten or completely remove your tattoo. When the ink particles absorb the light from the laser, they are broken up into tiny fragments and then absorbed through your body's immune system. This process generally takes a few weeks.

What Is The Downtime?

With no downtime and minimal side effects, you can return to your normal activities immediately after a session.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Laser removal is usually performed in intervals spaced at least 4-6 weeks apart to allow the area to heal between treatments.

The exact number of laser treatments needed varies depending on the size, age, depth, and complexity of the tattoo. The amateur tattoos respond more quickly to treatment than professional tattoos. Fox example, amateur tattoos can be removed in as few as 1 or 2 treatments, while professional tattoos may take 8 – 10 or more treatments to achieve maximum results.

Each session usually takes 15 - 30 minutes. You will continue to see lightening of your tattoo after each treatment as your body disposes of more pigment.

Most patients will have a 90-100% removal in 6-8 sessions, but this can vary. Some will need less, and some may need more.

We require a consultation appointment to discuss number of treatments we recommend, as well as pricing per treatment.

How Soon Will I See Results?

Immediately following treatment, the laser treated skin will look white. This is soon replaced by redness and then scabbing. It is important to keep the treated area moist and protected from the sun as it heals.

How Much Does Spectra Tattoo Removal Cost?

Pricing varies dependent on multiple factors like size, color, depth of tattoo, age of tattoo, etc.

Number of sessions required will be determined during a complimentary consultation prior to treatment, when a quote is drawn up and the effects are explained.

Please note that, the more ink the tattoo contains, i.e. the deeper and darker it is, the more sessions will be required in order to remove it.

What Will My Tattoo Look Like After Treatment?

Immediately after your treatment, your skin will have a white discoloration, and the area around the tattoo may become reddish and appear swollen. This is normal and will disappear slowly over time. Immediately after treatment, antibacterial ointment and gauze will be applied to the treated area to minimize infection and speed healing.

Common side effects of laser tattoo removal are minimal and uncommon in most patients, but don't be alarmed if you find signs of frosting, scabbing, swelling, discomfort, itching, hypo- and hyperpigmentation and blistering.  If you develop a blister-like bubble, DO NOT PICK OR POP.

Blistering is common, and will likely occur within 8 hours after your tattoo removal treatment. Do not be alarmed, blisters heal well and are part of the normal healing process.  Blisters will heal anywhere between 3 and 14 days if properly cared for. Blisters are an indication that your immune system is healing the area and beginning to remove the ink from your tattoo.

As long as you follow proper aftercare instructions, you won’t experience much discomfort  or have any residual effects after sessions.

Does Tattoo Removal Hurt?

Tattoo Removal has been described as a "rubber band snap". We always want our beauties comfortable so we will offer numbing for this treatment. In addition, Nitrous Oxide (Pronox) is also available to use during your procedure to ensure you're 100% comfortable.

Pre-Care Instructions

How To Prepare

  • Essential oils should not be applied locally or taken orally in the days before the treatment
  • Creams containing fruit acids or retinol should not be applied in the 48 hours before treatment
  • No sauna, steam room, exfoliation treatments in the 72 hours before the session
  • The skin must not be fragile, damaged or infected
  • The patient should not be pregnant or breastfeeding (as a precaution)
  • The skin should not be tanned or recently exposed to the sun (less than a month). The skin must be completely tan-free in order to remove tattoos containing the colors orange, red, green and blue.
  • The patient must not use self-tanning products or take beta-carotene in the month before each treatment.

Post-Care Instructions

Aftercare

  • Like all treatments using this type of laser, side-effects are expected but are temporary.

    • Small scabs may appear but must not be scratched or picked. They will fall off on their own after 7 to 10 days.
    • The epidermis may have a bubbled appearance, but this has no real consequences and will not affect how the skin heals. If you develop a blister-like bubble, DO NOT PICK OR POP.
    • The skin may feel “sunburnt” and some redness and swelling may occur. This usually only lasts a few hours.
    • At the end of the series of sessions, there may be some residual hypopigmentation, e. the patient’s skin may be a bit lighter in areas. This is permanent, but is not due to the tattoo removal, rather the scarring caused by the tattoo itself when it was introduced into the deep layers of the dermis.

We recommend disinfecting the area and applying a healing cream twice a day for 15 to 21 days after treatment.

High-factor sun protection is also required (SPF50+) for the month following treatment.
